The problem

Most fitness apps are spreadsheets in a costume.

You log a workout, the bar moves a pixel, and the app forgets you by week three.

Ascend turns every rep, lap and meal into altitude on a mountain you're actually climbing. Miss a day, the climber slides. Hit a streak, you punch through clouds.

One day of fuel

Skip it, or the coach banks it.

Atlas deals meal cards through the day. Skip what doesn't fit; the ones you keep get logged to Fuel — and the finished day lands back on your home screen.

The long game

Onboarding to Everest.

0 m climbed

What you get

Lifts, food, sleep and steps — one climb.

No separate apps for training, nutrition and recovery. Everything feeds the same mountain, and one number going up.

The climber moves up a real mountain

Every workout is elevation gained — Mt Hood today, Everest by year two. Progress you can see on the map, not just a number that ticks over.

A coach that remembers your last 90 days

Rae, June or Atlas reads your recent training and proposes the next move. You accept, edit or reject it, and it learns from what you skip.

The honest part

9 in 10 fitness apps get deleted by week three. The climb is why ours doesn't.

You've abandoned trackers before — everyone has. Ascend's whole job is to be the one that's actually fun enough to keep open. Here's the mechanic that does it.

The nudge

The climber slides when you skip

Miss a day and you watch progress slip — the loss-aversion nudge that actually gets you back to the gym, not another guilt notification.

One view

Lifts, runs and meals, one mountain

Stop juggling four apps. Every workout, run and logged meal pushes the same climb, so progress compounds somewhere you can see it.

The payoff

A weekly recap worth sending

Sunday you get a recap and share cards you'll actually post — the reward loop that turns a tracker into something you open for fun.

How it works

You're logging in about a minute.

  1. Step 1

    Set your goal

Build muscle, drop weight or run further — Ascend picks the mountain to match and maps the route.

  2. Step 2

    Log in ten seconds

Type it, scan it or say it — or let Apple Health, Garmin and Whoop do the lifting for you.

  3. Step 3

    Watch the climb

Real elevation, streaks and leagues. Summit with your crew; miss a week and the climber slides.

From the maker

I built Ascend because every other tracker forgot me by week three. The mountain is what made me come back — and it's what the beta crew tell us keeps them logging too.

When does Ascend launch?

Beta is live on TestFlight and Google Play internal track. Public launch is rolling out now — join the waitlist for early access plus a 14-day Ascend Club free trial.

What does Ascend do that other fitness apps don't?

Ascend turns training into a climb. Every lift, run and meal moves a climber up a real mountain — Hood today, Everest by year two — while your streak, XP and levels build underneath. Each muscle gets ranked in strength-tier leagues (Recruit → Climber → Summit → Apex) by bodyweight strength, so a lighter lifter competes fairly. You unlock badges at 3, 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180 and 365-day streaks. The climb is the metaphor, the streak is the truth.

Will it work with Apple Health and Google Fit?

Yes. Ascend reads steps, workouts, heart rate, and active calories from Apple Health on iOS and Health Connect on Android. No double-logging.

How much does Ascend cost?

Free forever for core tracking — workouts, nutrition, calendar, streaks, goals. Ascend Club is NZ$12.99/mo (monthly), NZ$119/yr (annual, ~24% off), or NZ$19.99/mo Family (up to 5 climbers). All Club plans include a 14-day free trial.

What's included in Ascend Club?

Your pick of AI coach voice (Rae, June or Atlas), global strength-tier leagues, weekly + monthly challenges, deep analytics with PR projections, premium themes (Aurora, Volcanic, Summit), unlimited crews, higher AI chat limits, and full CSV + JSON export.

Who is Ascend for?

Anyone who wants real, visible fitness progress without another spreadsheet. Lifters, runners, hybrid athletes, beginners returning after a break. Built for iOS, Android, and the web — global, NZ-headquartered.

Can I cancel and delete my data?

Yes. Cancel Club any time from Settings (or via in-app Subscriptions on iOS/Android). Export all your data (workouts, meals, calendar, social) as CSV + JSON. Delete your account in one tap.

Is my data sold or shared?

No. Ascend has zero ad SDKs and zero data brokers. Your training and food logs stay yours — exportable or deletable on demand. Privacy policy lives at /privacy.
