Ascend Fitness is built by an indie developer in New Zealand. We collect the minimum data needed to run the app: your email, the workouts and meals you log, and the metrics you authorise from Apple Health or Health Connect. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers, insurers, or data brokers.

What we collect

• Account: email, hashed password, display name.
• App data: workouts, meals, water intake, goals, photos you upload.
• Health data (with your permission): steps, workouts, heart rate, active calories from Apple Health / Health Connect.
• Diagnostics: anonymised crash reports via Sentry.

Your rights

You can export or delete all your data from Settings inside the app at any time. Email [email protected] for any privacy requests.
