Ring users get the most under-rated data in fitness — true sleep, true readiness. Ascend reads Oura via Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) and feeds it into the coach's deload algorithm.

Setup

  1. In the Oura app, enable Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) sync
  2. Open Ascend → Settings → Integrations → Apple Health / Health Connect → enable sleep + HRV
  3. Done. AI coach reads readiness signals on Sunday rebalance.

FAQ

Does Ascend use the Oura readiness score directly?

Today, no — we infer readiness from HRV trend + sleep duration. Direct readiness import is in development.

Ring battery?

Sync uses Bluetooth — Oura ring → phone → Apple Health. Negligible impact.

What about Oura subscription?

Required for Oura's own features. Not required for the data Ascend reads from Apple Health / HC.
